Danielle Stislicki: Man Questioned In Missing Woman’s Case Looked At In Unsolved Sex Crimes, Says Report

A man who has been questioned regarding the disappearance of Farmington Hills, Michigan woman Danielle Stislicki is being looked at regarding unsolved sex crimes, according to a report by Click on Detroit Local 4 News.

Several Metro Detroit police departments are examining any connection Floyd Galloway Jr. may have to Danielle’s case as well as sexual attacks in the area that have yet to be solved, according to Local 4.

Galloway, 30, was recently arraigned on several charges in a case unrelated to Danielle’s, including “kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct-assault with intent to commit sexual penetration, and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder by strangulation,” according to Fox 2.

On Thursday, July 6, Galloway briefly appeared in court a second time via video feed. During his appearance it was announced that his trial will not be live streamed to protect the identity of the victim in the this particular case, CBS Detroit reports. The next scheduled hearing is to take place on August 1.

Local 4 reports that other than the current charges faced by Galloway, he does not have a criminal past other than a misdemeanor charge in 2008 for driving while intoxicated to which he pled guilty.

Ann Stislicki, Danielle’s mother, has noted that Galloway once worked as a security guard at the building where she and her daughter work and was always “kind” and “professional” when she encountered him. According to Local 4, Ann stated the following.

Floyd would watch many folks who would work late at night… Would watch you walk to your car to make sure you were OK.”

The charges Galloway now faces stem from an alleged attack that is said to have taken place on September 4, 2016. WXYZ reports that a 28-year-old woman told police that while jogging down a bicycle path in a Livonia park she was grabbed around the neck by a man, who also struck her on the side of her face. According to WXYZ Detroit, police say the man tried to drag the woman toward a nearby river, attempted to take off her clothes, and “told her he wanted to have sex with her.”

On December 22, 2016, shortly after Danielle vanished, Galloway’s Berkley home was searched in relation to her case. Local 4 learned several items were removed from the residence, including a mattress.

Danielle, 28 at the time, went missing in the late afternoon of Friday, December 2, 2016, after leaving her job at MetLife at around 5 p.m. She had plans later in the evening to meet a lifelong female friend for dinner after first stopping at her apartment on the way home from work.

When Danielle failed to show up for the planned dinner her friend became extremely worried. When she was unable to make contact with Danielle by Saturday and Danielle failed to show up for work, the friend became alarmed. She then headed to the Independence Green apartment complex where Danielle lives and when the friend arrived, she found Danielle’s Jeep Renegade parked near her apartment.
